Staff and food were very good, we enjoyed that everything was perfect. The room met the criteria, spotless with a frosted glass window. Thank you for the comfortable stay, nothing too much trouble.

I had a real good experience here, everything was really good, the location was perfect close to the Lake District. The room I booked was refurbished and available with a nice bathroom, a lovely freshly cooked breakfast plus excellent facilities.

Everything was very good and I had a very lovely time. The staff was best, they were always available. Within 5 minutes' walk of the bus stop. The English bar was excellent and the drinks were warm. Unique base for 1 night.

Actually everything was perfectly fine, my next choice again in Kirkby Stephen. Delicious food, wonderful view, attentive service. I slept so comfy in the exceptionally comfortable bed. The bar area was traditional, I loved it.

I loved the details, like rooms and food, they were high quality. Very comfy beds, an iron/ironing board, a flat-screen TV and a hairdryer were a nice touch. The hotel was a perfect place for enjoying a local area. Moreover, Stenkrith Park was 10 minutes' walk away.
